Kitchen Guru

Kitchen Guru is over at Surat Ganesh Smruti on G D Ambedkar Marg in Bhoiwada. It’s a place where we deal with all the things that make a kitchen run. You know, the stuff that breaks right when you need it most. We see a lot of people coming in with parts of their stoves or mixers, looking a bit frustrated. I try to help them out. The shop isn't very large, and it's usually filled with the sound of metal clinking or someone testing a motor. Bhoiwada is a busy spot, so there’s always a bit of a crowd nearby. I’ve been at this for some time. My workspace is a bit of a disaster to anyone else, but I know where everything is. I have piles of gaskets and little plastic knobs all over the place. Sometimes I think I should get more shelves, but then I just find another corner to put things in. It’s a practical kind of business. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. People come here because they have a problem and they want it fixed without any fuss. I like the feeling of getting a machine working again. It’s satisfying in a way that’s hard to explain. We just open up, take what comes, and try to send people home with something that actually works. That's the daily routine here.
