Khodiyar Super Store

Even though the name says super store, we are just a local shop that tries to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. The area around Shyamdham Chowk is always buzzing with people and vehicles. We open up the shutters every morning and start the process of cleaning the dust off the items. Being near Bombay Market means there is never a dull moment. The shop at number 50 is packed from floor to ceiling with different things. We have had to get creative with how we stack the boxes just to make sure we can fit everything in. It gets quite crowded inside when more than a few people come in at once. We do not have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of fans that spin all day. The street outside is full of life and we often stand near the entrance to catch a bit of a breeze. We have a lot of regular customers from Nilam Nagar who come in for their groceries. It is a busy life in Surat, and we just do our part by keeping the shop open and the stock ready for whoever walks in.
