Khodiyar Super Store

Our store is tucked into the Hariram Bapa Nagar Society, right at Shop No. B52. It’s sitting along Varachha Road, which is a place that never really seems to go to sleep. There is always a lot of noise and movement outside our door. Being inside the society means we see the same people every single day. We are like a part of the furniture around here. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves to make sure we have what everyone is looking for. It can feel a bit crowded when three or four people are in here at once, but that’s just how it goes in a busy neighborhood shop. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon lights. Just a simple counter and the usual items people need for their kitchens and homes. Sometimes the door squeaks when you open it and the fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving and helps with the heat. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city or anything like that. We just want to be the place where the people from Hariram Bapa Nagar can walk over and grab what they forgot to buy earlier in the day. It’s a honest way to make a living and we like being right here on Varachha Road with all the noise and the people passing by.
