Our shop, Jyoti Gift Articles, sits right across from the Jhulelel Temple. If you know Dambar Gully on Dontad Street, you know exactly where we are located in the Rander area. It is a tight little area but always full of life and people moving about. We spend most of our time organizing the shelves and making sure the gifts are easy to see for anyone coming in. Being so near the temple means we see a lot of people passing through every single day. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the traffic and people walking by, but we actually like it that way. It makes the day go by much faster for us. We aren't doing anything complicated here. We just have a variety of gift items for whenever someone needs one. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when a lot of people come in at once, especially during the big local festivals. We’ve been on Dontad Street for some time now and have gotten to know the regulars pretty well. It’s just a normal part of the Rander neighborhood. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just the usual stuff you’d expect to find in a local gift shop. We keep the doors open and just wait for whoever needs a little something for a friend or family member. It’s a quiet life, mostly just keeping things tidy and helping people find things for their homes and celebrations.
