Jayesh Electronics

Jayesh Electronics is over here in Udhna, specifically at 34/1. It is a small place, really. We spend most of the morning just sorting out the parts and tools that got left out from the day before. The shelves are mostly full of old components and things we might need later. It gets quite warm in the afternoons because the sun hits the front glass pretty hard. We usually have the radio playing some local station just to keep the noise level up. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the street, so we are always wiping down the counters. Most of our day is just looking at circuit boards or trying to figure out why something stopped working. It isn't very exciting work but it keeps us busy. People from around Udhna know the spot, even if the sign is a bit faded now. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The floor is concrete and has some stains from who knows when. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a minute while we are working on a repair. By the time evening rolls around, we’re mostly just waiting for the last few people to stop by before we pull the shutters down for the night. It’s a simple routine we’ve had for years. The workbench is always cluttered with screwdrivers and bits of wire. We keep some old chairs for when someone wants to sit while we check their electronics. It’s just a workshop where things get fixed.
