Jay Pratap Building Mart

Jay Pratap Building Mart sits on Ghod Dod Road, right by the Ashirwad Palace. This area has changed a lot since we first started, with more buildings going up every year. We supply a lot of the things people need when they are fixing up their houses or building something new. My day usually starts with checking the inventory of pipes, bricks, and other materials we keep out back. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because Ghod Dod Road is a busy place and we have to be careful when trucks are unloading. I usually have a pen behind my ear and a ledger on the counter. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Most of our customers come in because they live nearby or someone told them about us. It’s a bit dusty inside from all the cement and sand, but that’s expected in a building mart. I like talking to the workers who come in to buy supplies for their daily jobs. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next shipment, which can be annoying. We just try to keep the regulars happy. It’s a plain and simple shop for people who have work to do.
