Jay Nilkanth Matirial

Our place, Jay Nilkanth Matirial, is over in Somnath Nagar Vanzarda, specifically at 117. We are right opposite the Gau Shalaa at Mojid Wadi, which means we hear the cows and see the activity there all day. It is a bit of a dusty area because of the materials we handle. We spend a lot of time outside or near the entrance because things are heavy and moving them back and forth takes a lot of effort. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, so we usually have a tarp or some shade set up. It is not the cleanest job in the world. Our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning and they stay that way until we close. Somnath Nagar is a growing area, so there is always something going on nearby. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner with a calendar and some old papers. Most people who come here are workers or locals who live around Vanzarda. We know most of them by name by now. Sometimes we sit out front and watch the trucks go by while we wait for the next delivery. It is hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but we have been doing it a long time. We do not use any computers for our daily stuff, just pen and paper and memory. It is a basic way to work.
