Jai Jalaram Provision Store

Jai Jalaram Provision Store is over on Adajan Dn Main Road 18. Being on a main road like this means we get a lot of people stopping in as they drive or walk past. We sell all the usual things you would expect to find in a provision store, like bags of flour, spices, snacks, and household cleaners. The shelves are always a bit crowded, and sometimes we have to move three things just to get to one, but we know where everything is. Adajan is a busy neighborhood, and Main Road 18 can get really loud with all the horns and engines. We just keep our heads down and serve the customers. We aren't into any of that modern marketing stuff. We just keep the goods ready when someone needs them. If the rain comes down hard, we have to move some of the displays back from the doorway, which is always a bit of a scramble. The shop isn’t perfect; the paint is peeling a little in the corners and the counter is scratched from years of use. But it’s a real place where real people shop. We like the routine of opening up, checking the stock, and talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. It’s just a plain, honest store. We don’t try to be anything else. We are just here on the main road, doing our daily business for whoever walks in and needs some groceries.
