Jai Bhavani Provision Store

Jai Bhavani Provision Store is tucked away at 8, Vakhariya Chambers on Begumpura Road. This part of Surat, specifically the Begumpura and Nawabwadi area, is quite old and has a lot of character. We spend our days inside this shop, surrounded by stacks of containers and bags of flour. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big delivery, and we often have to shuffle things around just to make a path to the back room. Sometimes the kids from Nawabwadi come in for a single piece of candy, and we have to dig through the jars to find what they want.
