J K Paper Ltd

Working at J K Paper Ltd means being out in Fort Songadh in the Tapi district. We are specifically located at H 16 in the Cpm Colony. This place is very much a company town vibe since most people living around here are connected to the paper work in some way. The colony is a bit separate from the main bustle which makes it a nice place to spend the day. We have the office set up with all the usual equipment but it feels more relaxed because of the greenery around the colony. The air is different here than in the big cities of Gujarat. Most of our day is spent coordinating things related to the paper production and looking at schedules. We see the same faces every day and everyone knows each other’s business pretty much. There is a small canteen nearby where we grab snacks and talk about things other than work for a change. The factory is not far off so you can always hear the low hum of the machines if the wind is blowing the right way. It is a very practical environment where people just get on with their jobs without much fuss. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything. It is just a workspace where we try to stay organized and keep things moving. It is a quiet but busy life out here in Songadh. We just keep at it day after day.
