Our place for Invensys India Pvt Ltd is out in Kimamli, which is in the Olpad Taluka of Surat District. It is a bit different from being in a big city center. It’s more of a quiet, rural or semi-rural area depending on who you ask. We’ve been here for a while and we like the pace. It isn't as rushed as Surat city itself. The office is straightforward and built for utility. We don't have any of those modern office gimmicks. It is just a building where we can sit down and get our business done. People in the village and the surrounding district know where we are. We aren't a flashy company with big billboards. We just operate out of this location and keep our heads down. The weather can be quite something during the monsoon, and the roads get a bit tricky, but we are used to it by now. It is just part of being in this part of Gujarat. We don't have a lot of staff, but the ones we have are hard workers who just want to do a good job. We don’t have any scripted speeches about our goals. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful. It’s a modest setup in Kimamli, and it serves us well. If you come by, you’ll just see us working away, nothing more, nothing less. It's a calm life and it suits us.
