International Gift House

Down here in G.I.D.C Bhimpore, things are pretty industrial, but International Gift House is tucked near Tirupati Nagar Phase IV. It’s an interesting spot for a gift shop. Most of the people who come in work in the nearby factories or live in the colonies. I try to stock things that would make a worker's family happy. It’s called International Gift House, but mostly we just have stuff from around the state. I liked the name though, it sounded big. The shop floor is usually a bit dusty because of the industrial area nearby, but I wipe things down every day. I sell things like clocks, wallets, and some nice decorative plates. Sometimes I get shipments in that are a bit late, but my customers don't mind. They know me. I’ve been here for a while now. It’s not a fancy mall shop with air conditioning that works all the time. Sometimes it gets a bit warm in the afternoon. I usually have a small fan going behind the counter. I do my own accounts and handle the stock. It’s a lot for one person, but I enjoy the quiet moments. When the shift ends at the factories, it gets busy for a little while. I like helping someone pick out a present for their child's birthday. It makes the day feel worth it. We're just a small part of this big industrial zone in Bhimpore.
