Hitesh Kumar Jain

This is Hitesh Kumar Jain. You can find me over at the Kailash Pur Market Chowk, right on Ring Road. My spot is 610 A. It’s a very busy market area, so there is always something going on outside the door. Trucks passing on the Ring Road and people shouting in the market are part of the daily background noise. My office is a small unit in the middle of the bustle. It’s crowded with papers and some samples, but I know where everything is. I’ve been in this market for a long time. People around here know me as just another businessman trying to make things work. I open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a dusty place sometimes because of the road, but it’s a good location for business. I have a small bench for visitors to sit on. We usually talk about the market prices and how the day is going while we settle our accounts. I don't use any fancy software or systems. I just keep my books and do my work manually for the most part. It’s the way I’ve always done it. Ring Road is a tough place to work because of the heat and noise, but it’s where I belong and where I’ve built my reputation over the years. I even make my own tea in the back room sometimes to save a bit of money and time. It’s just how we do things here.
