Goyal Mandap Contractors

Goyal Mandap Contractors is based out of Surat at Dhobi Talao L 3. If you come by our place, you will see a lot of bamboo poles, large rolls of colored cloth, and stacks of folded chairs. This is where we keep all the stuff for the events we handle. It is not a shiny office or anything, just a workspace where we load and unload the trucks. The work is mostly physical, lifting heavy things and making sure everything is tied down right so it does not fall over when the wind blows. Dhobi Talao is a busy area, so moving our big tempos in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We spend a lot of time out at different sites, setting up for weddings or small local gatherings. When it is the season for functions, we barely sleep because there is always another mandap to put up or take down. Our clothes get dirty and we are usually tired, but that is just the nature of this business. We have been working from this L 3 spot for a good while. It is a simple life of planning where the poles go and making sure we have enough light bulbs for the night. We do not use any big computers or fancy systems, just our hands and some basic tools to get the structures standing. The weather can be a problem too, especially when it rains and the cloth gets heavy and wet. We just keep moving and get the work finished. That is us.
