Dizny Khilona Gift Card Shop

Dizny Khilona Gift Card Shop is up on the third floor of the Jeevan Prakash Building in Kamrej. It’s inside the Bhurakhiya Arcade, near the Sarthana Jakat Naka. It might seem like a lot of stairs to some, but people still make the trip for the toys and cards we have. We’ve got a lot of khilona for the kids, ranging from plastic trucks to dolls that have been sitting there for a bit. The gift card section is quite large too, which is getting rare these days. Being on the third floor means it’s a bit quieter than the shops on the ground level, which I actually prefer. It gives me time to organize the shelves and check the batteries in the electronic toys. The name Dizny is just something we liked, even if it’s not spelled the way people expect. Kamrej is expanding fast, and we get more people from the newer apartments lately. The shop gets quite warm in the afternoons because of the way the sun hits the windows, but we have a few fans going. We do all the cleaning and stocking ourselves, so it’s a lot of manual work. It’s a simple business, really. We just sell things that make people smile for a little while. Most of our customers are parents who promised their kids a treat after school or for a holiday.
