Dipali Novelty

We've been at the ground floor of Arjun Appartment for quite a while now. Most folks in Katargam know us because we are right opposite the Arogya Kendra on Plot No E2. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when people are heading out for work or taking their kids to school. We deal with all sorts of small things, what people usually call novelties, and our shelves are pretty packed. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when more than three people show up at once, but we manage. Being a local shop means we see the same faces every week. You get to know what people like. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular store where we keep things organized as best as we can. The light isn't always the brightest in the back corners, but we know where every single item is kept. We open up early, sweep the front, and get ready for whatever the day brings. It’s mostly just us chatting with neighbors who stop by for a hair clip or a small gift. Katargam has changed over the years, more traffic and more noise, but our little corner stays mostly the same. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the name Dipali Novelty on the front. People find us because they live nearby or they're visiting the health center across the street. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we enjoy being part of the street life here.
