Dharti General Stores

Dharti General Stores has its spot on Sagrampura Hanuman Street 2/1289. It’s a traditional general store, nothing too modern about it. We’ve got the usual stuff people need day to day. We spend our time checking what’s running low and ordering more. Hanuman Street is a narrow place and it can get quite crowded with people and bikes. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of the walls to hang things up. You might have to look around for a bit to find exactly what you want, or you can just ask us. We don't have a computerized system or anything, just a notebook and our memory. It’s been this way for a long time. Sagrampura is an old part of town and we feel like we belong here. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than just being open when people need us. If you need something for your kitchen or a quick item for the house, we probably have it somewhere in the back or on the top shelves. The light isn't always the best in here, but it's a comfortable place to spend the day. We know the people who live nearby and they know us. It’s just a regular life running a store in a place like this. We don't try to be anything we are not.
