Dharti Agency is located at Udhana Magdalla Road 16. If you know this road, you know it’s one of the main arteries for traffic and commerce around here. We are right in the thick of it. The noise of the trucks and cars is something you just get used to after a couple of days. Our agency isn't a big, polished showroom. It’s a practical space where we store our ledgers and handle our daily business. We’ve got a small front area where people can walk in and talk to us. Most of the time, the air is a bit thick with the smell of diesel from the road, but we keep the fans spinning to stay cool. We aren't into those big advertisements or loud slogans. We just have our name on the board and we do what we say we will. The floor is concrete and the desks are old wood, but they serve the purpose just fine. We spend most of our time dealing with suppliers and making sure things get where they need to go. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists twice. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. It’s a very normal, local way of doing things. We’ve been at this number 16 spot for quite a while now and we know all the other shopkeepers nearby.
