Design House

Design House is our workplace at Singanpore, Survey No 8/1 J 5. It is a bit tucked away compared to some of the bigger shops on the main roads, but we like it that way. Being at Survey No 8/1 gives us a bit of a quieter environment to get our work done. We do all sorts of design tasks here. It might be for a small local project or something a bit bigger for a friend. The space J 5 is where we keep all our tools and materials. It’s not a showroom; it is a place where things actually get made. There are usually scraps of paper and drawings scattered around the desks. We try to keep it organized but when you are in the middle of a project, things get messy quickly. The neighborhood in Singanpore is mostly hardworking people. We have been here for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find us because someone told them about the work we do. It is a very direct way of doing business. We spend a lot of time just thinking about how to solve problems for the people who come to us. Some days are slow and we just tidy up, other days we are working late into the night. It is just the two of us here usually.
