Chidakash General Stores

Chidakash General Stores is over by the Gautam Silk Mills in Udhna. It's a busy part of town because of all the workers and the industry nearby. Being close to the mills means we see a lot of the same people every shift change. They stop in for small things they need on their way home or before they start work. The store itself is pretty straightforward. We have shelves lined with daily essentials and some snacks. It’s not the quietest place because of the machinery and the trucks moving around outside, but we’re used to it. We spend most of our time just organizing the stock and talking to the regulars. Sometimes someone asks for something we don't have, and we make a note to get it next time we go to the main wholesaler. It's just a small shop trying to provide what the local workers and residents need without making a big fuss about it. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. Just a regular counter and enough stock to keep people coming back. It keeps us busy and pays the bills, and that’s really all there is to it. We’ve been in this Udhna spot for a while and we know the rhythm of the neighborhood well. It's not much but it works for us and helps out the people working at the mills.
