A lot of people find us by looking for the Murgha Kendra, which is very close by. Our shop is a local spot where people from the society come to get their daily essentials. We have been sitting at this same spot for quite a long time. Surat is a fast-growing city, but Hira Baug still feels like a community where everyone knows each other. We stock all kinds of general items, from soaps to snacks and everything in between. The shop at 165/155 isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with the daily deliveries and keeping the inventory straight takes up most of our time. We don't have any polished mission statements. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when many people come in at once, but we manage it as best as we can. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood, serving the families who live in Ravipark Society and the surrounding streets.
