Ashapura Super Store

Ashapura Super Store is located on Talangpur Road in the Sachin area of Surat. Being so close to the railway station means we see a lot of travelers as well as the people who live right here in the neighborhood. We called it a super store because we try to keep a wider variety of things than a tiny corner shop might have. You can find your basic grains, spices, cleaning supplies, and some snacks too. The shelves are usually full, though sometimes it gets messy when we are restocking in the middle of a shift. Surat is a fast-growing place and Sachin is no different. There is always movement on Talangpur Road. We start our day early to get things ready before the first commuters arrive at the station. It’s a lot of work carrying bags and boxes around, but that’s the job. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the weather in Surat gets very humid, which makes working in the store a bit tiring, but we manage. People come in looking for specific brands, and we try to keep what they like. It’s not a fancy supermarket with air conditioning everywhere, but it gets the job done for the locals and the people getting off the trains. We just focus on keeping the essentials on the shelves.
