You have to head up to the first floor of Trishul Complex to find Anand Novelty And Gifts. We are at shop number 10, right on Varachha Road. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, so we don't get as many random people just wandering in, which is actually kind of nice. The regulars know we are here and they make the trip up when they need something specific. We have packed the shelves with all sorts of novelties and gift items, maybe a bit too much sometimes because it is hard to see the back wall. The complex is quite busy with other businesses around us, so there is always a bit of chatter in the hallway. We spend our time checking the stock and talking to the people who come in looking for toys or small decorative pieces for their homes. Varachha is a lively area and being in Trishul Complex puts us right in the middle of it all. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one, but word of mouth usually brings people to our door. It is a practical little shop where we try to keep things organized, even if the boxes pile up in the corners during the festive seasons.
