Anand Children Hospital

It gets pretty busy around here in Nanpura, especially being so close to Kailash Restaurant. Anand Children Hospital has been in this spot for a good while now. We mostly spend our days dealing with runny noses, fevers, and the usual stuff kids pick up at school or the park. The waiting room isn't fancy, just some chairs and a few old toys to keep the little ones busy while they wait their turn. Sometimes it gets loud with babies crying, but that’s just how it is in a place like this. Our doctors and nurses are usually running around from one room to another. We try to see everyone as fast as we can, though sometimes things back up when an emergency comes in. Por mohallo is a tight-knit area, so we see a lot of the same families coming back over the years. It’s funny seeing the kids grow up. One day they’re here for a baby shot and the next they’re nearly taller than us. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us here working. The fans hum in the summer and we keep the floors scrubbed. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes every single day. We just focus on getting the kids feeling better so they can go home and play. There’s always someone at the desk to help with the paperwork, even if it’s a bit messy sometimes. We just do what needs doing.
