Gajera Children Hospital

If you go up to the second floor of Ishvar Peles at Hira Bag, you will find Gajera Children Hospital. We are located right on Varachha Road, near Vithal Nagar Society. It is a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about outside. Being on the second floor helps a bit with the street noise, though you can still hear the horns honking sometimes. We mostly see kids here, so the waiting room can get a bit loud and messy with toys and crying babies. We do not mind it; it is just how it is with a children’s clinic. The walls have some simple drawings on them to make it feel less scary for the little ones who come in. The elevator in Ishvar Peles is a bit slow, so many parents just carry their kids up the stairs instead. We have a small staff who are used to the chaos of a busy afternoon. It is not a polished corporate office. The desks are often covered in papers and the shelves are full of medical charts. We have been here in Hira Bag for a while and have seen many of these kids grow up over the years. Varachha Road is always changing, but we have stayed in the same spot through it all. It is a busy and tiring job, but it feels right being here in the middle of everything.
