Gaurav Children General Hospital

The building, Sharda Niwas, is older and has that solid feel to it. We share the space with a few other spots, but everyone knows the children's hospital is on the ground floor. It’s convenient for parents with strollers. Vashi Colony has changed a lot over the years, but our corner stays pretty much the same. We have these blue chairs that have been here since I started. They aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. My boss, the main doctor, he’s always in a rush but he listens. That’s why people keep coming back even when the wait is long. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full speed. You can hear them humming over the sound of the traffic outside. It’s just a normal hospital doing what it can for the local families in Udhna. We see a lot of kids every day. Some are just here for shots, and others are actually sick. It gets loud with the crying sometimes, but you get used to it. The staff is small, just a few of us trying to keep everything organized. We handle the files by hand mostly. Udhna Main Road is always buzzing with activity, and we’re right in the middle of it. It’s a busy life, but it feels good to be part of the community here. We just take it one patient at a time without any fuss.
