Nice Children Hospital

We are situated inside the Jeevandeep Complex, specifically using the units 201 and 202. Our location is on Unapani Road, which sits very close to the Surat Railway Station. Because we are so near to the station, there is almost always a lot of noise and people moving around right outside our doors. Inside the hospital, we are dealing with children all day long. As you can imagine, it can get pretty loud with kids crying or running up and down the hallways. We keep a few toys in the corner of the waiting area to try and keep them occupied while they wait for their turn to see the doctor. The complex is an older style of building, and we are located on one of the upper floors. You have to use the stairs or the lift to reach us. It stays quite busy because many families travel into the city by train and then come directly here for checkups. We see a lot of the usual childhood illnesses like fevers, coughs, and stomach aches. The staff is very much used to the general chaos that comes with a pediatric ward. We spend a good amount of our time cleaning up little spills and trying to make the clinical rooms look a bit less intimidating for the small children. The days usually go by very quickly for us. We don't have fancy decorations, just some stickers on the walls. The location is the main thing for people.
