Dhruv Children Hospital

Dhruv Children Hospital is up on the 4th floor of the Platinium Plaza. It’s right there at Sudama Chowk in Mota Varachha. Being in a plaza means we have neighbors like shops and offices, but once you get up to 405/406, it’s all about the kids. Dealing with children is different. The waiting room usually has some toys scattered around and there’s often someone crying or laughing. It’s a noisy place, but that’s just how it is with little ones. We chose this spot in Surat because it’s a growing area. There are a lot of families moving into Mota Varachha, so we stay pretty busy. The elevators in Platinium Plaza can be slow sometimes, which is a bit of a pain when you're in a hurry. Inside the hospital, we keep things as bright as possible. We have rooms for checkups and places for kids who need to stay a bit longer. It’s not a corporate chain; it’s just a place where we try to get kids feeling better so they can go back to playing. We spend a lot of time talking to worried parents and trying to explain things in a way that makes sense. It’s tiring work, especially when the plaza is busy and the parking is full, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We’ve even got some drawings from patients taped up on the walls in the hallway to make it look nicer.
