Ambika General Store

Our shop, Ambika General Store, is located in the Green Park Apartment building on Citylight Road in Surat. We are right near the petrol pump and directly opposite Corner Point. It’s a handy location for the people living in this residential part of the city. We sell all the usual general items like milk, bread, snacks, and basic toiletries. The shop is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for neighbors to just pop in. It’s not a very big space, so we have to stack the crates of cold drinks and water bottles neatly. Surat is a busy city, but Citylight Road feels a bit more relaxed. We have been here for quite a while and have seen many families move in and out of the apartments. We know which kids like which chocolates and who needs their bread fresh every morning. It’s just a simple, practical store. We don't have a big staff, so sometimes you might have to wait a minute if we are in the back moving stock. The fan keeps humming all day to beat the heat. We don't have a website or any promotional deals. We just keep the shelves full and the counter clean. It’s an honest way to make a living. Most of our customers are people we see every single day. If you are walking near the petrol pump, you will see our shop under the apartments. It’s just a regular neighborhood store.
