Akar Novelty Store

We are located at number 23, right near the Khodiyar Shopping Center on Ramdaya Main Road. This part of Fateganj is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it all near Varachha Road. The shop has been here for a while, and it feels like part of the neighborhood now. We sell all the usual novelty bits, from small plastic toys and keychains to hair accessories and maybe some basic household goods. The shelves are made of old wood and they've seen better days, but they hold everything up just fine. Sometimes the stock gets a bit mixed up because people like to pick things up and put them back in different places. We try to keep it tidy, but it's a constant job. The front door stays open to let some air in, though that means we get some of the noise from the main road all day. It’s mostly just a one-person job running things here, so if I’m in the back moving boxes, someone might have to call out to get my attention. We don't have any fancy computer systems for the stock; we just know where things are by looking for them. It’s a practical little shop for practical people. Most of our regulars come in because they know they can find something small without having to go to a big supermarket. We don’t need anything more than that, just a good spot to sell our wares and talk to the locals.
