A One Tobacco & Provision Store

Our shop is located right in the Surat Hadapsar Industrial Estate area. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the workers from the nearby factories coming in during their breaks. We stock a lot of different tobacco products since that’s what people ask for the most when they’re taking a quick rest. Besides that, we have the usual provision items like soaps, snacks, and cold drinks. The dust from the industrial roads gets inside sometimes, so cleaning the glass counters is a daily job that never ends. We see a lot of the same faces every single day, mostly men in their uniforms looking for a tea break snack. It can get really crowded around shift change times. I usually sit behind the counter and handle the change while my brother stocks the shelves in the back. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Everything is just kept where it’s easy to grab. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding us among all these large industrial buildings, but they eventually get here. We keep the fridge running all day for the cold water and sodas, which are popular when it gets hot outside. It’s a simple setup, just four walls and a lot of stock squeezed in. People just want to get their things and get back to work, so we keep things moving as fast as we can. It's a loud neighborhood with all the machines running nearby.
