Reliable Sponge Iron

Reliable Sponge Iron is based in the city of Rourkela, which is in the Sundergarh district of Orissa. Our main office is located at Lcr 81 in Chhend Colony, care of H. K. Mishra. Being in Rourkela, we are surrounded by the steel industry, so dealing in sponge iron is a big part of the local life here. Our office isn't anything fancy. It’s a practical space filled with old metal cabinets, stacks of invoices, and a few heavy desks. We spend a lot of our time on the telephone, coordinating with the plants and making sure the transport trucks are on schedule. It can be a very dusty and noisy business, and the office often reflects that. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with other people in the iron and steel trade. Chhend Colony is a decent neighborhood to work in, and we’ve been here at this address for a long time. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who know the industry inside and out. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate slogans. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks of buying and selling iron and making sure the logistics don't fall apart. It’s hard, physical work sometimes, and the Orissa heat can be tough, but we just keep at it. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like anything else.
