Adhunik Metalik Ltd

Started as a small setup in Civil Township, right near the Tarni Mandir. You can hear the temple bells sometimes if the windows are open, which they usually are because the AC struggles in the Orissa heat. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything. We just have a desk, some chairs, and stacks of files about metal orders. Most days we are just coordinating between the site and the office, checking lists and making sure the trucks are moving where they need to go. If you come by, you might find us drinking tea or arguing about the latest delivery schedule. There is a lot of dust from the road outside, but that is just how it is around here. We have been in this spot for a good while now, and the neighbors know us. It is a bit cramped inside when everyone shows up at once, but we manage. The paperwork never seems to end, especially with the metal industry being what it is. We handle the logistical side of things, basically. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a local operation, nothing too corporate. We just try to get the metal where it is supposed to be without too many headaches. It is just us doing our daily bit.
