Jai Balaji Industries Ltd

This part of Jai Balaji Industries Ltd is based in Rourkela, Orissa. We are at House No. Tt/4 in the Civil Township. Rourkela is a steel town, so we fit right in. The township is a bit more organized than some of our other locations. It’s a residential-feeling area but we run our business operations from here. The weather in Orissa can be brutal. The heat stays trapped in the buildings during the afternoon. We have a few coolers going, but it is still a sweatbox. We are focused on the industrial sector, naturally. Most of our days are spent on the phone or tracking shipments coming from the plants. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical office space with the essentials. We have a small staff who knows the steel business inside out. We don’t use corporate jargon or have big missions. We just make sure the orders are processed correctly. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to sit on the porch for a bit. It’s a decent place to work. We are plain people doing a plain job. We don’t try to sound bigger than we are. We just handle the logistics for the company and keep the records straight. It’s steady work in a tough industry. It is not always exciting, but it pays the bills and keeps the economy going.
