Peer And Sons

Peer And Sons is located in Sir Syed Market, right at the Main Chowk in Wazir Bagh, Srinagar. We are quite close to the BSNL office, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us in the 190008 area. The market here is always full of life. Our shop has been in the family for a bit, and we just carry on with the work day by day. It’s a general setup where we try to have a bit of everything that someone might need in a hurry. Srinagar weather can be a bit tricky, so some days are slower than others when it’s cold or snowing outside. But we keep the shop open and the tea ready. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of goods and a counter where we spend our time. People from the BSNL office and the surrounding houses stop by regularly. We know their names and what they usually buy. It’s a very local way of doing things. We aren't interested in being a big chain; we just like being Peer And Sons. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and for our customers. We just want to make sure the locals in Wazir Bagh have a place to get their things without having to go too far away. It takes a lot of patience to run a business here, but we enjoy the community feel.
