Dar Crafts

Our work happens in Matipora Nanil, which is a quiet spot far away from any busy city center. It is a small village where life moves at a much slower pace, and we like it that way. We have a modest workspace where we keep our tools and the materials we need for our crafts. During the winter months, it gets very cold here, and we often have to work near the small heater to keep our fingers limber enough to handle the fine details. We do not have a big factory or a lot of machinery. Most of what we do is done by hand, sitting on the floor or at small wooden benches. The neighbors often stop by to chat or share a cup of tea, so there is always someone coming or going. It is not a high-tech business at all. We rely on our eyes and our hands to get the work right. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a few hours, and we just move our work closer to the windows to use the natural light. It takes a lot of patience to make things this way, but we have never been in a great hurry. We get our supplies from the surrounding areas and try to keep things as simple as possible. When we finish a piece, we pack it up carefully in old newspaper or crates to send it off to the buyers who wait for them.
