Kashmir Mahal

The place is called Kashmir Mahal and you can find us at 1 Isber Nishat. It is right there in the Nishat area. It’s a bit different here compared to the crowded city centers. The air feels a little different and the pace is definitely slower. We spend our days mostly handling the items we have in stock. It’s a quiet building for the most part. Sometimes tourists wander by because of where we are located. We don't have a big staff or anything. Just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. The rooms are filled with things we have gathered or made. You might see us sitting by the window when the sun is out, just taking a small break. We don't really use computers for every single thing. A lot of it is still done by hand or just noted down in a simple book. The building itself has its own character, a bit old-fashioned maybe. We like it that way. It fits the kind of things we have here. People come in and they take their time looking around. We don't rush them. It’s not that kind of place. Nishat is a beautiful part of the world to work in. We just keep things running and try to be helpful whenever someone stops by. That’s pretty much the whole story of our daily life here. We just try to keep the place tidy and wait for the next visitor who might walk through our door.
