Ghulam Mohammad Sofi

I've been working here in Laderbal Pampore for a long time now. It is just me, Ghulam Mohammad Sofi, running things from this spot in Pulwama. You know how it is in this part of the country, everyone knows everyone else. I spend most of my days right here at the address, usually starting quite early before the sun gets too high over the fields. Pampore is a busy place, especially with all the saffron talk, but my day is more about the small things. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get things moving, especially in the winter months when it gets really cold around here, but we manage. I don't have a big team or anything like that. It is just a straightforward way of life. People stop by, we talk, and I get the work done. The shop is located right there in the heart of Laderbal. It isn't fancy. There are no big signs or loud music. Just a quiet corner where I sit and handle what needs to be handled. I’ve seen the town change quite a bit over the years, new buildings going up and more traffic on the roads, but my daily routine stays pretty much the same. I just try to keep things honest and simple. If you are ever passing through this part of Pulwama, you will find me here. It’s just how things are done in a place like this, nothing more to it. Anyway, that is pretty much the whole story of this place.
