Firdous Ahmad Khanday

I am Firdous Ahmad Khanday, and I have been operating out of Meej Pampore for a good while. This part of Pulwama is where I feel most at ease, surrounded by the familiar sights and sounds of the 192121 area. My setup is very basic, just the way I like it. I have a few shelves, a solid table, and a couple of chairs for whoever stops by. It is not the kind of place where you need to dress up or act important. Most people who come here are just neighbors or people from nearby towns who heard about me through word of mouth. I do not spend any money on fancy ads or anything like that. I think if you do a decent job, people will find you eventually. The building in Meej is old, and the roof sometimes makes noise when the wind blows hard, but it has character. I spend most of my day here, sometimes working late if there is a lot to do. I like the quiet of the evenings in Pampore when the traffic dies down and it is just me and my work. It is a humble existence, but it suits me just fine. I do not have big plans to expand or move to a bigger city. I am happy right here in this corner of the world, doing what I know how to do best without any fuss or bother.
