Harwan is a place that feels a bit tucked away from the main hustle of Srinagar. My setup here is quite simple, located right in the Harwan area. If you look at the address, it says Harwan three times, which I guess is just because that's the local way of saying it's right in the center of things. The weather can get quite cold here, especially when the winter sets in and the mountains nearby start looking white. My space is small and I keep a heater going most of the months to stay warm. I spend my time mostly meeting folks from around the neighborhood. It’s not like those big clinics in the city center where you have to take a token and wait for hours in a hall. Here, it’s more about knowing the people who come in. I’ve lived in Srinagar a long time, so I’m used to the way things work here. People stop by to chat or ask for advice, and I just do what I can. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the local markets are busy. I’m just one man doing my bit in this corner of the valley.
