J J Gift House is located over in E Ansari Nagar. You’ll find us on Broadway Lane, which is part of the Mather Bazar area. It’s a busy little market spot and there’s always something going on outside our door. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, with wooden shelves and a lot of character that you don't find in newer places. We’ve been here at this address for quite some time now. Mather Bazar has its own specific rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over the years. We spend our days mostly organizing the stock and talking to the neighbors who stop by. It’s not a high-end boutique or anything like that. It’s just a local shop where we keep things simple and honest. The lane can be quite narrow, so getting deliveries in is sometimes a bit of a headache for us. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals written on the walls. We just want to keep the shop running like it always has. Most of the people who come in are from the surrounding streets in Ansari Nagar. We know most of them by name and know what they like. It’s a nice way to work, honestly. You get to see the same faces every week and hear the local news. We don't use much technology here, just the basics to get the job done. It’s a honest living for us and we like being part of the community here.
