We have been working out of Curtorim for a while now, right near the Shripad Shrivallabh Temple in South Goa. It is a quiet spot. Most of us here just like to focus on the software work we have on our plates. We are not a big office with flashy signs or anything like that. We are just a regular team in the Shri Shanti building at house number 621/Z-11. Sometimes the temple bells remind us what time it is, which is a nice way to keep track of the day. We do our coding and testing throughout the week. It is mostly just sitting at desks and figuring out technical problems that come up. Being in a place like South Goa keeps things a bit slower paced than the big cities, and that is actually quite good for thinking things through. We handle different projects as they come in. There is not much to say other than we show up, do the work, and go home to our families. People often ask where we are exactly, and we just tell them to look for the house number near the temple. It is simple. We have a small setup here. We do not really do the whole corporate meeting thing unless it is absolutely necessary. Most of the day is just quiet typing and the occasional coffee break. This way of working works for us. We have stayed in this neighborhood because it is where we started.
