Jb Enterprises

Down here in Goa, things usually move a bit slower, but at Jb Enterprises in Utorda Mollar, we stay pretty busy. We are located in Salcette, which is a nice part of the state, away from the really heavy tourist spots. The office is a simple place where we keep our records and handle the daily business stuff. You can usually hear the birds outside or the sound of a motorbike passing by on the road. It gets very humid here, so we usually have the windows open to catch any breeze that comes through. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the area well and have been doing this for a long time. There is no big corporate structure here; we just talk to each other and figure out what needs to be done. The office has a lot of old wooden furniture and some cabinets that have seen better days. We don't mind it much because it works for us. Most of our day is spent talking to local people or checking on supplies. When the monsoon hits, the rain on the roof is so loud we can barely hear the phone, but we just wait it out. It’s a honest way to spend the day, and we like being part of the community in Salcette. We just do our work and go home when the sun starts to set. It is a quiet life but we have enough work to keep us going.
