We are over at K-85 in Lajpat Nagar-II. It is a pretty well-known part of town. We work with both wood and metal here, hence the name. Our shop is a bit different from the big retail chains you see in the malls. It’s more of a place where we actually put things together. You might find some sawdust on the floor or a bit of metal shavings if we’ve been busy. We make things that are meant to stay in one piece for a long time. We have a lot of tools scattered around the back. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have big projects going on. Lajpat Nagar is always bustling, so there is a lot of energy outside. We get people walking in just to see what we are making. We don't have a marketing team or a social media manager. We just show people what we’ve built. Some days we are working on a wooden table, other days it might be a metal frame. It keeps the work interesting. We have been in this location for quite a few years and the locals know us by now. We just try to do a decent job on every piece that leaves the shop. It’s practical work for people who want something solid. We like mixing the two materials because it makes the final product much stronger. We aren't fancy, we just like building stuff that lasts people a long time.
