We are based in B-6, Manjusha Building at 57, Nehru Place. If you know Nehru Place, you know it's a total maze of buildings and people selling electronics everywhere. It’s always crowded and there’s a lot of energy in the air. Our office is a bit of a climb, but it’s a good spot once you get inside. We have desks covered in files and various things for the office. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other when we’re moving around. The windows look out over the plaza below. You can see the tea sellers and the crowds moving between the blocks. We spend our time talking on the phones and keeping track of orders. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan going on every desk to move the air. We’ve been in this building for a long time and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. There’s a lot of paper moving through here every day. We know the security guards and the guys who deliver the mail by name. It’s a tight-knit community in a way, despite the chaos outside. We just keep our heads down and get the business handled. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the billing when the building gets quiet and the sun goes down and the crowd thins out.
