Our office for Travel Tracks Pvt Ltd is located at G-95 in Sriniwaspuri. In the address on the documents, it says Dri Niwas Puri, but everyone around here knows it is Sriniwaspuri in New Delhi. It is a residential block so the whole area feels very lived-in and local. Our unit is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for us to get in and out during the day. The front door has a bit of a squeak when you open it that we keep meaning to oil. We have some basic plastic chairs for when people come to visit and a large main desk where most of the work happens. The walls are covered with a few old calendars and some handwritten notes taped up with scotch tape. Outside, there is a small patch of grass that the colony residents look after. You can hear the birds in the morning and the general sounds of the neighborhood waking up. It is a far cry from the big glass office towers in the city center. We like it this way because it is a bit more relaxed. We keep a big water cooler in the corner because it gets incredibly hot in Delhi during the summer. Sometimes we run out of printer ink at the worst times and have to run to the local market to get more. It is just a normal, everyday office. (254 words)
