Convergys India, Gurgaon

The name says Convergys India, Gurgaon, but we’re actually working out of F-153 in Nouroji Nagar, New Delhi-110029. It’s one of those things where the office location is a bit different from what you might expect based on the name alone. Nouroji Nagar is a busy little pocket of the city, and our building is right in the middle of it. We’re a customer service and support kind of place. That means a lot of headsets, a lot of talking, and sitting at desks for long shifts. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The office has that typical feel of a busy work floor. There’s always someone talking in the background or typing away. We have our little breaks where we go out for a smoke or a tea near the gate. The building is pretty standard for this part of Delhi. We don't have any big posters about our values or anything like that on the walls. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold, and sometimes the commute through the city is a real pain, but we’re here every day regardless. We handle calls and emails and try to help people out with their problems. It’s a lot of repetition, but we’ve got a good group of people here who make the time pass faster. That's just the reality of life at our Nouroji Nagar spot. It gets the job done and we keep things moving.
