The Kitchen Studio

We’ve got this place, The Kitchen Studio, over at H-37-A in Kalkaji. It’s a bit of a tight spot, but we’ve managed to fit a lot into it. It’s mostly full of cabinet doors, stone samples, and different types of handles scattered around. People in Kalkaji know us as the place where you can come and actually see things before you decide on them. We don't do the whole high-pressure sales thing. Usually, we're just sitting at the back desk sketching out a layout or trying to find a specific hinge that someone asked for. It gets a bit dusty with all the samples and the coming and going, but that’s the nature of the business. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough to know most of the shopkeepers on the block. The street outside is always busy, so there’s never a quiet moment. Sometimes a client comes in with a very specific idea, and we spend hours just trying to figure out if it will actually fit in their space. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It's just a few of us trying to make sure the kitchens we put together actually work for the people living in them. It’s practical work, and we like the local feel of being right here in Kalkaji. It is just a small studio where we work every day.
