The Hans

The Hans is located at 98-A, Pocket-C in Siddhartha Extension. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to some of the busier markets in Delhi. We have a small setup here where we handle our daily business. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of glass and chrome; it’s more about concrete floors and sturdy shelving. We spend our mornings sorting through what needs to be done and our afternoons making sure the shipments are ready. We deal with various suppliers and it can be a bit of a headache when they show up late, but we manage. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know who is doing what. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and sometimes share a meal if the work is running late. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down. We don't do much advertising because we mostly work with people we’ve known for years. It’s a steady kind of life. We focus on the practical side of things, like making sure the weights are correct and the labels are stuck on straight. There isn't any secret to how we work; we just show up every morning and stay until the job is finished. It’s a good place to be, and we’ve made a home for ourselves here in Siddhartha Extension.
