Suman Syndets Pvt. Ltd. is situated on the third floor of C-127 in Dayanand Colony, over in Lajpat Nagar-IV. It’s a lively part of the city, and there’s always a lot of noise from the street below, but being up on the third floor helps keep things a bit quieter for us. We don't have a fancy elevator, so if it’s out of order, we get a good workout on the stairs. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some desks, a few old computers, and racks of samples for the detergents and syndets we work with. There’s a faint smell of soap in the air most days, which isn't a bad thing at all. We aren't a huge corporation with different departments and managers. It’s just a handful of us who’ve been working together for quite a while now. We usually start our mornings by checking the orders and making sure the deliveries are on track. Our furniture is a bit mismatched, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We don't bother with mission statements or fancy goals. We just want to get the day's work done and make sure everything is handled correctly. Lajpat Nagar is a great place to be because there’s always good food nearby for lunch. We keep things simple, talk plainly, and don't try to impress anyone with big words. It’s just an honest business run by real people who know their job well.
